Handmade Mitsumata paper, renowned for its quality, allows the brush strokes to flow while holding pigments in a tactile surface.

These flowers respond dynamically to light, inviting contemplation on the mysterious life of plants. This brush painting explores the properties of minerals, water, sunlight, and chlorophyll.

The pigments I have used are Cobalt Yellow (Aureolin), Cerulean Blue, Yellow Ochre Light, Cadmium Green, Titanium White, and Chrome Yellow Middle.

The Mitsumata paper is stretched and attached to a simple wooden batten with bookbinder's paste, facilitating effortless hanging. Should an alternative hanging method be preferred, the batten can be easily removed before purchase.

These banners are rolled for both storage and posting.
