Hosokawa Kozo
Iris Sibirica swaying lightly and gracefully through early summer wind and rain. The pale flowers look luminous against the rain cloud coloured background. It is surprising to me how such delicate flowers survive this weather but their thin sword shaped leaves and flexible petals are perfectly designed to do so.
The fibrous and strong Heritage Handmade Hosokawa Kozo paper holds light and gives this piece dimension. Pigment on Heritage handmade Hosokawa Kozo paper from Japan.
